This week in clinical I was able to sit in on a birth. The mother was having her 3rd child so the labor and delivery went very quickly. She had a very mean and rude doc. that didn't even let Dad cut the umbilical cord! I had another patient that Iwas able to do an in and out cath. on her after delivering a 9lb baby and she was very swollen down there so it was very hard to find the right spot to put the cath. in her. Gave more Hep. shots to the babies.
