I had an OK week in OB at NEMC. This was my first time at NEMC and I found the charting to be difficult however; Mrs Holcomb walked me through it. I found it a little easier on Friday. Their charting is done on OBTraceview (an overall good system). I think by next week, I will have it down pat. My pt. was a 22 yr old, C/S, Hispanic. This was her first child and what a beautiful baby girl she was. The language barrier was a major issue but, I worked through it with a little Spanish and a lot of hand jesters. The LC spoke Spanish and was of great help to me. I also got to see her assessments and interventions. She was a very nice lady and I hope to see her again next week. Hope all had a good week. Study Hard!!
