My second week of clinical

I was very excited to be in the nursery on Thursday. It was by far my favorite rotation in clinical. I gave two Hep B vaccines and completed a newborn assessment and even got to assist with a newborn bath. Friday I went to labor and delivery and waited all morning for the birth and as soon as I got dressed back in school scrubs, the expectant mother had her baby. I hate that I missed it. Maybe next week.
