This was a very good week! I was at SPA on Thursday and really enjoyed it. All the people who works there were very nice and informative. I like the idea of having 1 RN or CNA w/ each Dr. It really cuts down on the work load. Friday I was at NEMC w/ Mrs. Collins (what a sweet and smart lady). The pt I prepped for on Wed. had been D/C on Thursday therefore, I had a new pt for Friday. She had a lot of meds due at all different times during clinical and Mrs. Collins said I did a good job with my meds. We were hoping to do some IVPB but the orders were D/C. Overall, I think I gave 15-20 different meds starting at 0730 until 1200. I like the way NEMC is set up w/ the pixis in the Nurses station and the rest of the meds on rolling carts. Great Idea!! Everything you could possibly need for any med was right in the cart. Hope all had just as good of week as I did.
