Nothing exciting happend today at Rowan in L&D. We had one patient with twins there and she was having contractions but didn't even know it. She had them probably because of the UTI she had. The great part of the day was our nurse that Donna and I were following. After the patient was D/C'ed she went back and found fetal strips to show us of babies having problems. One that I'll never forget was a mom who did cocaine while she was pregnant. The babies heart rate was terrible and it showed right on the strip. What a crime to begin life that way!
