FHS on Thursday

Being at the Health Department on Thursday was a wonderful experience. Everyone working there seemed to really love what they do. I followed Beverly Thompson for the day and she was absolutely wonderful.... culturally competent and nonjudgemental. Everyone really worked together to provide the best care possible for the patients. It was refreshing to be in such an environment. I didn't really see anything crazy (medically), but it was still a nice experience. The level of caring demonstrated by doctors, nurses, and translators was amazing. I could see myself working in this setting.
