My clinical experience started off a little rough on Thursday. I guess with the fact that I have never had a kid before I felt completely lost. On Friday I felt a lot more comfortable with what I was supposed to be doing. I had the pleasure of dealing with a mom and dad who were very overprotected of the newborn (even thought they already had a 4 y/o little girl). This was quite an interesting challenge to learn how to do what I needed to do with out being intimidated by the parents looking over my shoulder at every move I made. As the day progressed they started to open up to me and the tension in room started to decrease. I'm excited in the weeks to come about getting to see a delivery!!!
