Week#1- Lab Simulations

Hello everyone!
The lab simulation was not refreshing our skills only. It was excellent experience how to deal with constantly changing situations which are going be common in delivery and postpartum settings.
Mrs. Ward gave us different and realistically possible situations where we had to think critically (and as we know is pretty hard).
This simulation gave me head up on a lot of things:
-blood transfusion, meds. and fluid compatibility, starting IV's, etc.
We had chance to walk trough to process from admission of the patient, over antelabor, intralabor and birth (we delivered the baby) and postpartum process.
I am happy that I started with the lab first and I think it was excellent introduction how is going to bee in the real world.
