This week went well for me. I went to L&D day 1 and really enjoyed it. The morning started off slow but I had a very helpful nurse that showed me exactly how to read the FHR/contraction sheet as well as informed me how the labor would go. During mid-labor for my patient I was able to go watch a section (2nd section for a 19y0). It was amazing and went very quickly. After watching the entire surgery I went back to my original mom who was ready to push. I saw 2 babies delivered w/in 1 hour! It truly was a miracle! Today I went to FHS @ the HD. I followed the NP to see 6 patients. They were mostly postpartems and physicals. The NP was very helpful and answered all of my questions. It was a good week. I hope that next week goes as smoothly (my 1st week back on the floor!)
